The inspiration for this artwork is derived from a passage in Zhuangzi’s The Fable of Carefree Wandering:

“In the Northern Sea, there is a fish, and its name is Kun. The size of Kun is so immense, it is unknown how many thousands of miles it spans. It transforms into a bird, and its name is Peng. The wingspan of Peng is also vast beyond measure, and when it soars in rage, its wings resemble clouds hanging in the sky. The Kunpeng—formless and boundless—its grandness cannot be grasped by the human mind. With a single sweep, it oversees mountains and rivers, holding an ambition beyond the reach of ordinary people.”

This metaphor reflects Pengding Holdings’ boundless and unstoppable momentum, symbolizing the gathering of strength and the limitless and unbounded future. The Kunpeng symbolizes “lofty ambitions, a bold and unrestrained spirit, and the pursuit of freedom,” which aligns with the vision of long-term, vigorous development.
